Subject	What are the downfalls if any of running solid lifters?

Message	Do you have to readjust them after x amount of miles? do they cause wear on other parts if the cars is driven daily? I have solids in my old 79 TA and have had no problems but i realsize the Z is a totally different machine. I do not fear what the future holds for me, I am not afraid to die.
